Donormyl

Donormyl

Donormyl is a non-prescription sleeping pill advertised to provide relief for millions who suffer from insomnia.

I had to find out if Donormyl offered the restful sleep it promised while allowing a rejuvenated feeling the following day.

Join me on my discovery to find out whether Donormyl’s promises are more of a dream than reality.

How Does It Work?

The official website claims Donormyl is the strongest non-prescription sleeping pill available. In addition they say it has an “active ingredient superior to the prescription barbiturate phenobarbital, for use as a sedative or sleeping pill.”

In just 30 minutes Donormyl is supposed to help you slip into a deep, restful sleep.

You shouldn’t take Donormyl unless you can remain asleep for a full 7 to 8 hours. Anything less will cause you to be drowsy the following day. This is common for most sleeping aids.

What’s in the Pill?

The official website only lists one ingredient in Donormyl: 25mg of Doxylamine Succinate.

Doxylamine Succinate’s main function is as sedating antihistamine, a short-term treatment for insomnia. Doxylamine Succinate can also be found in allergy medications and in drugs taken to relieve pain or reduce fevers.

The FDA first approved Doxylamine Succinate as an over-the-counter pill to treat sleep disorders on October 8, 1985. (1)

Possible Side Effects

• Dry Mouth
• Drowsiness
• Headaches
• Urinary retention
• Blurred vision
• Constipation

Cost

The cost of prescription medicine can sometimes be the cause for sleepless nights. I wondered if Donormyl’s price would be affordable.

The official website:
• 96 Tablets: $40.00
• 288 Tablets: $90.00.

AppleHealthStore.com:
• 1 Bottle: $39.99
• 3 Bottles: $89.99

This includes free shipping

Conclusion

It’s always a red flag for me when I’m given limited information, especially on something as important as a sleeping pill.

Though I can’t deny Doxylamine Succinate’s proven effects, I cannot give my complete recommendation.

If you’re suffering from insomnia, and want to try Donormyl, I would recommend speaking with your physician first. He or she can you decide if Donormyl is the best option for you.

Narsky, this product is not available in liquid formula. You should not take alcohol with any supplement. Donormyl will not counteract a hangover the next morning after you’ve gotten drunk. When used appropriately, it may help you feel energized the next morning, but only because you got adequate amounts of sleep. Some users experience negative side effects (even without the alcohol) such as grogginess the next day – this is common with sleep aids.
