Narsky, both alcohol and sleep aids have a relaxing effect on the body – the two combined is too much to be safe. The two do not create a normal sleep. At best, you’ll experience grogginess, dizziness, headache, unusual dreams, weakness, changes in appetite, and difficulty keeping balance. I seem to fall asleep easy enough but I keep waking up throughout the night. It’s rare that I’m not awake around 1-3am and then I have trouble falling back to sleep.
Could you tell me what that’s likely caused by? And if Somnamax would address that problem? And lastly, a brief explanation on REM sleep and when it occurs?

I currently take Ambien and can’t sleep without it. I also take a melatonin along with it. Sleep is very important for me as I have a seizure disorder. I will check with my doctor before doing anything. I was just wondering if you have seen success in people coming off prescription sleep aids to Somnamax? I really hate taking ambien as it causes memory loss and would rather be on something natural. My 15 year old also has alot of trouble sleeping. He takes ADD meds. Have you had anyone who has ADD that has been helped by this? Thanks so much for your help!
